Macedonia is a country that offers so much variety. It seems that every city has its own unique character and Kumanovo is no exception. I was fortunate to find myself in Kumanovo while working as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Kumanovo, a vibrant, dynamic city, welcomed me with open arms. For me, there is no better place in Macedonia to meet friendly, entertaining people, enjoy delicious local foods, and to explore while learning about the complex history of the Balkan region.
